This historic hotel occupies an entire block of prime real estate at the intersection of Bourbon and Orleans streets and has a rich history which includes life as a popular 19th century ballroom and then as a convent for the Sisters of the Holy Family (the South's first order of African-American nuns), before ultimately becoming the classy, cozy, comfortable hotel it is today. Our wedding ceremony will take place in the hotel courtyard and we’ve booked a block of 15 rooms for both Friday and Saturday night. We have a good group rate, so mention you are with the Allen & Farrelly wedding (also ask for a quiet room facing away from the street if you’re a light sleeper), but if you prefer to stay elsewhere please check out some other great options below.
